Reversible Destiny Lofts - Mitaka, Japan

Reversible Destiny Lofts is the brain child of architects/artists Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins.

The housing units are uniquely designed to draw out different movements and thoughts, which in turn, raises awareness of the physical body, simply as the residents go about their daily lives. The floors are uneven and resemble a climbing wall. All of the rooms have their own shapes – and subsequently, acoustics – and nothing is the same angle or height.
